Travelin' McCourys
The Travelin’ McCourys blend traditional bluegrass with a progressive edge. Rolling Stone has called them a “sublime combination of old and young,” with the chops to pick precisely but the vibes of a shaggy rock band. This group is truly a family affair, with brothers Robbie and Ronnie beginning their careers as sidemen for their father, Hall of Fame guitarist Del McCoury.

You’re invited for fine dining and an exclusive sneak peek of “Voices of a Nation” at one of Spartanburg’s most storied institutions: The Piedmont Club.
Music Lovers’ Luncheon offers an inside look at the programming for Saturday evening’s concert. Music Director John Young Shik Concklin will share the ideas behind his selections, Composer-in-Residence Peter B. Kay will speak about the premiere of his new work, Revolutions, and Steven Graff will be on piano providing live entertainment.

"The Nutcracker" with Spartanburg Philharmonic has dazzled audiences of Hub Cityfor more than three decades and is hailed as one of our most beloved holiday traditions. Over the years choreographer and director, Carlos Agudelo, has created a multi-faceted artistic masterpiece that delights audiences of all ages. Each season features new choreography and costume additions, as well as a Nutcracker Market located in front of Twichell Auditorium. This market provides families with an ultimate Nutcracker shopping experience, complete with photo opportunities, hot chocolate, music, and more before entering the auditorium. Join in the Christmas tradition with "The Nutcracker."
