Thank you for your continued support and belief in Spartanburg Philharmonic. The 2020-21 season has been one of challenges and growth and the pandemic has brought about changes in all aspects of our lives, including how the Philharmonic will continue to contribute to and inspire members of our community. As we look forward to the 2021-22 season, we want to share some of these changes with you.
Press Release: Spartanburg Non-Profits Partner To Give District 7 Students A Special Holiday Treat
The Spartanburg Philharmonic and Hub City Writers Project announce today a continued partnership to give the gift of music and the written word to students across Spartanburg County School District 7. This year the two organizations are gifting first-grade students in each District 7 Elementary School a beautiful hardbound copy of "Twas The Night Before Christmas" and online access to a video of the Philharmonic's performance of the classic tale.

Spartanburg Philharmonic announces a partnership with multiple arts organizations and local music makers to present one-of-a kind family concert. 'Burg Bound: A Stay-At-Home Holiday Concert premiers online November 28th at 7:00 pm while families gather at home for the start of the holiday season. Viewers will enjoy cheerful and inspiring classics such as Greensleeves and Twelve Days of Christmas along with special presentations in partnerships with Ballet Spartanburg and the Spartanburg Little Theatre.
SHJ: Spartanburg Philharmonic to offer digital concert series, outdoor concerts this fall
Spartanburg Philharmonic is taking the leap into the online realm with its first virtual concert Saturday.
"You'll notice when you see the videos that everyone is wearing masks, except for the winds and brass players when they are playing. We rehearsed and recorded in 30-minute chunks, and then took a 20-minute break so that the air could clear, and we could go around and disinfect the chairs and stands,"
