Praise For "Homegrown"

Take from a Spartanburg Herald Journal Letter To The Editor

‘Homegrown’

On Friday night, Nov. 22, my wife and I experienced another very entertaining Espresso concert presented by the Spartanburg Philharmonic at the Chapman Cultural Center. “Homegrown” was the theme because it highlighted local composers’ music played by local artists. The quality was exceptional.

We in Spartanburg are blessed to have such an incredible music community. We owe a debt of gratitude to the Spartanburg Music Foundation’s staff and board, who are maintaining and building on a decades-long tradition of excellence built at Converse College and in our wonderful local schools, both public and private.

The best news is it is available to EVERYONE! Come one, come all; it’s the best value in entertainment east of the Mississippi!
