Sister Sadie
In 2019, they became the first all-female group to win the IBMA Vocal Group of the Year award. Thier amazing harmonies and rollicking instrumentals also made them the 2020 IBMA Entertainer of the Year. If this is sisterhood - we want in!

Spring Awakens
This performance is sure to delight as our dedicated students show you just how hard they've worked. The pieces of this concert are like a breath of fresh air as our young musicians close out their 2022 / 2023 season and leave it all on the stage.

American Songscape

Tao of Purity & Power
Each instrument adds its own voice and color to a piece of music and offers composers endless possibilities when creating new themes. Along with guest conductor Lee Mills and soloist Conrad Tao, join us for a concert that examines how composers employ this world of sound and expression to craft the unexpected.

Fiddle Frappé
Explore traditional folk melodies from Ireland, Scotland, Denmark, Sweden, and more that have been beautifully arranged for string quartet. Mystical, evocative, and a heck of a lot of fun right in time for St. Patrick’s Day!

Oolong Notes
The exotic East immediately envelopes the audience when Jennifer Chang and her guzheng, the 21-string Chinese zither, take the stage. A master of her craft, Jennifer will mesmerize and delight with a blend of eastern and western classical pieces.

Heart, Soul & Cello
Elgar’s Cello Concerto is undoubtedly one of the most impassioned and emotionally expressive pieces of music ever written. Brought to life by guest conductor, Nadège Foofat and cellist Claire Bryant, each note weaves its way into your soul, captivating and moving you to places that defy description.

The Nutcracker: Presented with Ballet Spartanburg

Jazz Java
The Great American Song Book with a direct, simple, yet intriguing style. This trio improvise solo narratives with toe-tapping nonchalant grace and played with the confident passion of dedicated musicians. Truly, swinging, sophisticated jazz.

Fantasy & Firebird
Let your imagination take flight with a fantasy-filled program led by guest conductor Troy Quinn and featuring violinist Fabiola Kim. You’ll be swept away by the ultimate Russian fairytale found in Stravinksy's The Firebird. Join us, and let your heart soar with the music.

Fall Fever
Join us in welcoming our recently renamed Prelude and Symphony ensembles to the stage for the first concert of the 2022 / 23 season. If you enjoyed our student's spectacular array of pieces and performances last year, then you're in for quite a treat.

Frank Solivan has built a reputation as a monster mandolinist - and become a major festival attraction with his band, Dirty Kitchen. Their respect and deep understanding of the tradition collides, live on stage, for an unforgettable performance.

Chai Cello
