The long-running project of five-time IBMA Banjo Player of the Year Sammy Shelor, Lonesome River Band brings forty-plus years of bluegrass experience to Spartanburg for a night of hard-driving bluegrass. See the band that has performed with Steve Martin on Late Show with David Letterman.

Celebrate the season with local bluegrass heroes Wayne & Kristin Scott Benson, bringing award-winning bluegrass, festive favorites, and special guests. Wayne and Kristen, both known for their innovative instrumental techniques, have accompanied Charlie Daniels, Michelle Branch, Dolly Parton, and many more.

The Travelin’ McCourys blend traditional bluegrass with a progressive edge. Rolling Stone has called them a “sublime combination of old and young,” with the chops to pick precisely but the vibes of a shaggy rock band. This group is truly a family affair, with brothers Robbie and Ronnie beginning their careers as sidemen for their father, Hall of Fame guitarist Del McCoury.

Singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Darrell Scott, known for his collaborations with Steve Earle and Emmylou Harris, brings his String Band to Spartanburg, joined by dobro master Rob Ickes. Don’t miss the chance to hear why this duo are two of Nashville’s most sought-after session players.
