


Music Lovers Luncheon | February 14, 2025
"If music be the food of love...play on." - William Shakespeare, Twelfth Night
Join us on Valentine's Day for our second Music Lovers' Luncheon of the 2024-25 season at The Piedmont Club, where you can enjoy an exquisite lunch in the company of fellow music enthusiasts. Music Director John Young Shik Concklin will lead an engaging discussion on the works of the esteemed Wynton Marsalis, focusing on his new "Concerto For Trumpet" and the headlining piece for our concert, Blues dell'arte. He will also explore the music of Clarice Assad as well as Igor Stravinksky's famous "Pulcinella Suite." A perfect Valentine's Day afternoon date!
The luncheon will be highlighted by a special private performance from the celebrated trumpet player and featured concert guest artist, Jens Lindemann.
Non-Piedmont Club Members must RSVP and pre-pay for the luncheon by 12:00 PM on Wednesday, Feb. 12th, 2025.
