You can elect to support Link up; Spartanburg Youth Symphony Orchestra (SPYO); and/ or the Music Trail in downtown Spartanburg. Links below!
Link Up is an educational program designed by Carnegie Hall where nearly 4,000 Spartanburg fourth graders learn how to read music and play on their recorder flutes. After months of classroom practice, they’re brought to Twichell Auditorium for a concert where they play alongside the Spartanburg Phil! Your donation here buys recorder flutes and sheet music.
SPYO is a program designed for orchestra students who want to take their talents to the next level. In our fifth year, the student participants receive professional instruction and practice performing at a high level of skill. Your donation here supports hiring professional sectional teachers and scholarships.
The Music Trail winds through downtown and touts Spartanburg’s rich musical history. From the Marshall Tucker Band and The Sparkletones to Fayssoux McLean and David Ball, we’ve got a story to tell for residents and visitors alike! Support new signage with your gift here.
